What is it that drives a man to risk losing his wife, children and home to pursue a sexual relationship with an employee that is often half his age and with limited English? Enlisting the help of child carers from abroad is often a lottery with parents having little or no contact with the au pair before meeting them off a plane and ready to entrust the care of their children to a virtual stranger.
