Mühlen im Wind

A young man returns to his native village after a long journey. He finds himself in the place from which he once fled. Tired of the constant resistance against the unchangeable course of events, he now decides to simply surrender to it. He doesn't want to decide anything anymore, doesn't want to move away and just let everything happen. But just then the wind of change comes over the village, an idea is born and all certainties seem to dissolve. A young couple who must seize the favor before it is over, before their time is up. A mayor ready to act and understand everything, but at the same time overwhelmed by his ambition and his office. A teacher who questions the meaningfulness of what he is doing and finds that both life and the young people he is supposed to teach are a complete mystery to him. A butcher who is in despair because nothing is as she knew it.
