Glitter Girls Transsexuals in the Raw is a documentary film by Emmy winner filmmaker Hedda Muskat who takes us into the subculture world of transsexual life in West Hollywood, California in 2000. The film centers around Gia Darling who is entering the Miss Glitter Girl Pageant. Glitter Girls take us into their dark and confusing world of discrimination that transgenders face each day.
