Fireman Sam races to the rescue in ‘The Great Escape of Pontypandy’. Trevor takes the Pontypandy Pioneers on a day trip to Pontypandy Island. In their rush to explore, the Pioneers fail to secure their boat and it gets washed out to sea leaving them stranded on the Island! James uses his ‘How to be a Great Explorer’ book to send out a smoke signal SOS but, when Norman tries to do the same, he accidentally causes a bush fire. Will Trevor and the kids escape the island before the fire spreads?
