Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of The Queen and the administrative headquarters of the monarchy, is a working building with the offices and back up that manage the day to day activities of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh and their immediate family. The Palace is not a museum nor is it a gallery, although it is furnished and decorated with priceless works of art that from a part of the Royal Collection.
